The Grounds
Our Park is 6.38 hectares and has a winter and a summer configuration. The fields have a modern sand carpet surface.
In summer the lower fields in front of the Clubrooms offer a 5 wicket grass block together with an artificial wicket block. This is predominantly used for Premier cricket. During the cricket season the cricket oval is known as the Bruce Freeman Oval named after an ECBC Life Member.
During the week these fields together with the top field are used for twilight cricket.
The lower fields, top field and field behind the existing Clubrooms are also used during summer for Touch Rugby.
In its winter configuration there are 2 rugby fields on the lower fields number 2 and 3. The number 1 rugby field is on the top field and is used for both Premier Rugby and by North Harbour Rugby for representative rugby. It is surrounded by floodlighting that enables night rugby to be played.
The Clubrooms
The Clubrooms are a two level facility shared by both East Coast Bays Rugby Club and East Coast Bayc Cricket. They can cater for up to 200 people. There is direct access out on to 2 decks providing spectator viewing. The upper level facility incorporates an open plan function space, a full commercial grade kitchen and a fully operational licensed bar. A caterer can be made available.
There is a projector screen and fixed AV capability making it easy for presentations. The speaker system provides Bluetooth functionality allowing cable free internal usage.
The Clubrooms have a range of tables, chairs and stools enabling a comfortable environment for both commercial usage and after match refreshments.
Three large TVs deliver a great viewing experience with full Sky TV access.
The lower level incorporates two changing rooms as well as a meeting room that also doubles as a physio room and overflow changing area for female members.

Garden Bar - Winter
We have a licenced garden bar that allows members to enjoy a drink whilst watching the rugby match of the day.
Garden Bar - Summer
We are also have a licenced garden bar with a summer configuartion that allows people to watch a game on the Bruce Freeman Oval.
Cricket Nets
There is also a 4 lane cricket wicket training facility offering an outdoor all weather artificial surface. It is acknowleged as being some of the best outdoor cricket nets in Auckland.
